Austin Bragg is excited to begin his second year at Piedmont City Schools, his first at Piedmont High School, and his first as Head Wrestling Coach. He recently graduated from Jacksonville State University with a Master’s degree in Secondary Social Studies Education. He wants to encourage students by looking through the lenses of the past so that we not only learn about ourselves and how we came to be, but also develop the ability to create better paths for our future societies. He is married to Melissa, and they have five amazing children: Dylan, Clay, Jaiden, Mackenzie, and Christian. He is a Class of 2004 PHS graduate and a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
